Alivia Carlton

Alivia Carlton is an attorney with hands-on criminal defense and high-stakes litigation experience, coming to us from a firm where she gained a reputation for obtaining acquittals and dismissals for criminal clients all across Texas.

 She earned her J.D. from South Texas College of Law Houston, where she served on the First Generation Law Student Association executive board as Communications Chair. She participated in the school’s renowned trial advocacy program and volunteered her time with the legal aid clinic, helping people statewide in clearing their criminal records. Alivia holds a B.S. in Political Science from Florida State University, with a Certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

 Before law school and finding her passion in high-stakes criminal and civil trial work, Alivia worked as a paralegal at a prominent personal injury firm in Houston. Beyond the courtroom, Alivia enjoys performing with the Rice community band as a flutist, running in Memorial Park, and spending time with her cat, Rammie.
